Suspect Shot, Killed By Evans Police Identified As Manuel Moreno

EVANS, Colo. (CBS4)- The suspect shot and killed by police in Evans last week has been identified. Manuel Moreno was involved in a shooting with police in the 4300 block of 37th Street.

Moreno, 65, was shot and rushed to the hospital where he later died of his injuries. Officers said that he refused to cooperate with them.

According to the Evans Police Department, the incident remains under investigation by the Weld County Critical Incident Response Team.
