(CBS4) - A brush fire ignited on South Table Mountain in Jefferson County overnight and was quickly contained. The fire was burning in a grassy area of the mountain in the Golden area.

The fire was listed at 3 acres.

The smoke could be seen from Highway 58.

So far it's not clear what started the fire.
