Crews Make Progress On Deep Creek Fire Burning Near Kremmling
KREMMLING, Colo. (CBS4)- Crews continue to make progress on the Deep Creek Fire burning near Kremmling. The wildfire that started on Wednesday has grown to nearly 90 acres and is 35% contained.
The fire is burning near Green Mountain Reservoir and has prompted the closure of Bureau of Land Management land and some areas of White River National Forest in Summit County.
Investigators say it was human-caused but continue to determine the circumstance surrounding the wildfire.
