What better way to see all of the beautiful fall colors than to see them from above? Just a short drive outside of Denver will take you to the launch point for Fair Winds Hot Air Balloon Flights, where you can get the most breathtaking views of Colorado in the fall. Not only will you be able to take your whole family up in the balloon, but you can participate in the inflation and deflation of the balloon itself. In addition, breakfast is included, as is a bottle of champagne (or cider), a balloon pin, T-shirt and a personalized photo to remember the occasion. The trip lasts about an hour to an hour and a half but your whole adventure will take around three hours, so it is the perfect morning activity to jump start a day of adventure in the Rocky Mountains. This may be a bit of a splurge, but it is an experience the whole family is sure to remember.
