Colorado is full of fantastic destinations, from mountain towns to bustling cities, scenic getaways to urban retreats. Most of the best options are just a tank of gas away, and Crested Butte is definitely one of the best. Getting There

A scenic drive along 285 South to Buena Vista and south on 24 to Salida encompasses some of Colorado’s spectacular scenery over Monarch Pass and along the Arkansas River. Going east on 50 to Gunnison and north on CO-135 will have travelers to Crested Butte in about 4.5 hours.

Home to 24 craft beers on tap and fresh ingredients galore, the late-night bar is a popular spot and local hang out. Take & Bake pizzas are also available at this Crested Butte favorite, as are burgers and subs. Try the Elizabeth Anne pizza with basil, pine nuts, garlic, roasted pepper and basil pesto, or the spicy Hawaiian with Canadian bacon, pineapple and jalapeno peppers for something decidedly different.
