CBS4 Recruiting Junior Weather Watchers

Tasso Leontaritis

DENVER (CBS4) - Do you know a kid who loves to watch and report the weather?

CBS4 is looking for kids ages 6-12 to join our Junior Weather Watcher program.

All that's necessary to participate is a love for weather and a few simple instruments such as a rain gauge, thermometer and a ruler.

Junior Weather Watchers will have the opportunity to participate in hands on science by watching the sky and making weather reports to CBS4.

They'll also have the chance to learn more about Colorado's climate through exclusive e-mail newsletters and interaction with the meteorologists of CBS4.

There's even the chance to be featured on TV!

Some reports from CBS4 Junior Weather Watchers will occasionally be used to help tell Colorado's daily weather story.
