Record High Set Today - Could Set Another One Tomorrow

By Ed Greene

DENVER (CBS4) - Yes we were still dry on Thursday...and yes it was warmer than normal again...but the big story for the day was the high of 83 - a record high - breaking the old record for this date of 80 degrees set way back in 1933. The record high for Friday is also 80 degrees...and again, we have a chance to set another record high with the forecast high back in the low 80s under partly sunny skies.

Then not quite as warm for the weekend: mostly sunny and mid 70s for Saturday; partly cloudy skies fro Sunday with a high in the mid to upper 70s - still way above the seasonal norm or 61!

The Halloween forecast includes mostly sunny skies with a mild high in the low 70s. It will stay dry ad mild for the trick or treaters with temperatures mostly in the 60s as they go door to door in their costumes. Tuesday will finally turn a little cooler with a high in the mid 60s under partly cloudy skies. The Wednesday and Thursday forecasts keep highs in the low to mid 60s, but may at last include and few scattered showers.
