October Could End In Denver's Top 5 Warmest Since 1872

DENVER (CBS4) - If you think it's been a warm month around Colorado then you're right! In fact Denver is on the verge of breaking into the top five warmest October's on record.
Between Oct. 1-24 the average temperature in Denver was 56.9°F which is 4.6°F above normal.
Denver currently sits in 6th place on the list of warmest October's since 1872, but that could change with a few more days of above-average temperatures on the way.
The average high for the end of October in Denver is in the lower 60s and drops to 59°F on Halloween.
The following is a list of Denver's Top 6 warmest October's since the climate record began in 1872.
59.9°F - 1950
57.9°F - 1963
57.9°F - 1934
57.4°F - 1933
57.0°F - 1947
56.5°F - 2015
