DENVER (CBS4) – As promised, some fog formed overnight then as the day went on only high clouds were found over Colorado and that was due to the moisture flow from former hurricane “Newton”. And it stayed warm: yesterday’s high was 87 officially and Wednesday was one degree warmer as we reached 88 at the airport, 87 downtown. Look for more sunshine on Thursday and again with a high in the upper 80s. A cold front pushes through the state for Friday and that will drop our temperatures into the cooler, but pleasant, mid 70s under mostly sunny skies.
As the weekend arrives, so does another warm-up: look for upper 80s on Saturday and upper 80s again by Sunday – and we’ll keep mostly sunny skies around.
As the new week begins, yet another cold front sweeps through the state and this one may also bring a few showers or an isolated storm with a high in the low 70s.
