Winter Storm Hits Colorado's Front Range Ending Denver's 6-Week Snow Drought

DENVER (CBS4) - A St. Patrick's Day storm dropped anywhere from 6-12 inches of snow along Colorado's Front Range late Thursday and early Friday, with lesser totals along and east of Interstate 25.

The storm ended a snow drought in Denver that began on February 3.

Prior to the current storm the last measurable snow recorded at Denver International Airport fell between Feb. 1-2.
