Broncos Daniels Says Offense Wants To 'Flip The Script'

DENVER (CBS4) - It's that point in the season when many players on NFL rosters are nursing injuries, but the two guests on the CBS4 Football Blitz this week say they are feeling great.

Cornerback Chris Harris and tight end Owen Daniels of the Denver Broncos both told CBS4's Vic Lombardi on the CBS4 Sports show they are both free of the injury bug so far.

"I'm playing tons of snaps every week, but I feel great," Harris said.

Daniels said he's quite healthy as well, but part of that may be due to the fact that the offense hasn't been on the field as much as they could be.

"The offense isn't playing as many plays as the defense is. We'd like to flip that script in the next upcoming weeks," he said.

As far as the Broncos opponents on Sunday, Harris said the Browns will give them something the defense hasn't seen too much of this season.

"They throw the ball more than any team we've seen this season, so I'm excited about that," said Harris, who scored a key touchdown on an interception return during the Week 5 win over the Raiders. "There's a lot of plays out there to make."
