2 Brush Fires Break Out Along The Front Range

THORNTON, Colo. (CBS4) -A brush fire in Thornton burned an outbuilding Saturday afternoon.

The fire was burning in the area of 139th and Quebec north of Denver. A vacant outbuilding was destroyed.

Nobody was injured but the fire was spreading so fast that fire crews requested help. Fortunately, they were able to put out the fire quickly. The cause of the fire is not known.

Another brush fire broke out Saturday afternoon northwest of Brighton. It has burned about 10 acres but no structures were threatened. The cause of the fire is also not known.
