Thunder Foundation Throws Party For 200 Kids

DENVER (CBS4) - Some members of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver celebrated the holidays early.

The Thunder Foundation threw a party in Sports Authority Field at Mile High on Monday for 200 children. They got to meet Broncos mascot Thunder, the Broncos cheerleaders, and even Santa. And after lunch everyone left with a gift.

"The special thing is, what you see here, the kids, the energy of the kids is; without us they wouldn't have had any Christmas at all," Ernie Blake with the Thunder Foundation said.
