(CBS4) – Denver’s current mask mandate due to COVID will be lifted on Feb. 3. City officials made the news official early Friday afternoon.
Denver Department of Public Health & Environment said on Thursday “Case rates are declining, and we appear to be past the omicron peak. But that does not mean people should let their guard down … We encourage everyone to remain vigilant about wearing face coverings in indoor public settings.”
Colorado state health officials say 75% of Coloradans are currently immune to the omicron variant of COVID-19, and by mid-February experts believe that percentage will rise to 80%.
