Denver To Replace 8th Avenue Bridge Over South Platte River

DENVER (CBS4)- Denver is replacing a bridge that's 92 years old. It spans the South Platte River.

Construction on the bridge at West 8th Avenue between Federal Boulevard and Zuni is scheduled to begin Sept. 27.

The new structure will be wider, allowing for another lane and bigger sidewalks for pedestrians.
