Motorcycle Deaths Down In Colorado Compared To 2020

DENVER (CBS4)- Colorado is seeing fewer motorcyclist deaths this year after a record high number in 2020. That's when 140 riders died on the road.

The Colorado Department of Transportation said there have been at least 59 motorcycle rider deaths this year compared to 72 at this time last year.

To keep those deaths down, CDOT started a new campaign to remind drivers to look out for motorcycles. "Some things are hard to see" aims to remind drivers to give riders extra space and use extra caution.
