U.S. Department Of Education Forgives Federal Loans For Coloradans Who Attended Westwood College
(CBS4)- The U.S. Department of Education is forgiving the federal loans of 115 Coloradans who attended Westwood College. The career college shut down for good in 2016.
The Department of Education found Westwood misled students about their job and salary prospects and the transferability of the school's credits.
In all, 1,600 Westwood students nationwide will have their loans forgiven.
