Canine Park At Children's Hospital Gives Patients, Dogs Room To Run, Play
AURORA, Colo. (CBS4)- A new canine park at Children's Hospital Colorado brings together patients, families, and four-legged friends. The park is a fenced area that allows children to play with the therapy dogs in a traditional setting.
The hospital said that by allowing play with the dogs, the patients have a chance to heal with their love.
The therapy dogs are a key part of the healing program at Children's Hospital, not only for patients but for their families and hospital staff.
