GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colo. (CBS4) – A garage fire sent up a large, black plume of smoke over Greenwood Village on Wednesday afternoon. South Metro firefighters rushed to a home on University Boulevard near Willamette Lane.

Firefighters closed University Blvd. between Belleview Avenue and Orchard to use a fire hydrant.

They also used foam to douse the flames.
