(CBS4)– Colorado Parks and Wildlife wants to share pictures of a roadrunner in action. CPW shared the image from Wayne D. Lewis who found the bird having a good day eating snails and bees.

Even though roadrunners are birds, greater roadrunners spend most of their lives on the ground, hunting.

They’re very speedy when they run but they are not great flyers. Occasionally they make it to fence posts or overhead wires.
