Gov. Jared Polis Signs Executive Order To Further Protect Tenants From Being Evicted During Pandemic

DENVER (CBS4)- Gov. Jared Polis has signed an executive order to further protect tenants from being evicted during the coronavirus pandemic. He signed the order on Tuesday.

Under the executive order, tenants now have a 30-day period to cure any default for nonpayment of rent. Previously, tenants only had a 10-day cure period.

The executive order will remain in place for 30 days.
