Aurora Neighborhood Evacuated During Gas Leak, Repairs
AURORA, Colo. (CBS4)- People living in a neighborhood in Aurora were forced to evacuate their homes on Monday morning after a gas leak. Firefighters responded to the neighborhood just after 9:30 a.m. in the area of 3rd Avenue and Powhaton Road.
The surrounding homes were evacuated as crews monitored the area. Xcel Energy crews had the leak plugged less than an hour after it was reported.
