Residents Escape Midnight House Fire In Johnstown

JOHNSTOWN, Colo. (CBS4) - Firefighters in Johnstown rushed to a home on first in the middle of the night. Firefighters from Front Range Fire Rescue arrived at the home on South Parish Avenue at around 12:30 a.m. on Sunday.

They say smoke was billowing from the front of the home, but there were flames near the back.

Firefighters say residents evacuated the home before they got there. It's not clear if anyone was hurt, nor what caused the fire.

The fire was under control about an hour later.
