Centura Health Hopes Vaccination Event Will Help Dispel Misinformation About Coronavirus
LAKEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4)- Centura Health is working to raise awareness about the coronavirus vaccine in Colorado's Latino communities. On Thursday, the health care company hosted a vaccination event in Lakewood for "promotoras" which is a Spanish term for community health workers.
The hope is that once these workers get vaccinated they'll get the word out to others. That includes dispelling misinformation, answering concerns and educating people on the vaccine.
