Colorado Air National Guard To Help With Security At Presidential Inauguration

DENVER (CBS4)- Members of the Colorado Air National Guard are heading to Washington DC for President-elect Joe Biden's inauguration. The 8-person team will be part of the security detail.

They will provide secure communications for the Inauguration for the 46th President on Jan. 20. They will be joining other guardsmembers from across the nation to ensure safety at the event.

They will join 10,000 National Guard members in Washington DC but that number may grow to 15,000.
