Doctor Walks At Coors Field Among U.S. Stadiums To Raise Awareness About Patient Safety
DENVER (CBS4)- A doctor walking to baseball stadiums across the country made a stop at Coors Field this week. Dr. Dave Mayer has walked more than 1,220 miles during his walk for caregiver and patient safety.
Mayer is the CEO of the Patient Safety Movement Foundation. It's a nonprofit dedicated to eliminating preventable medical harm.
On Wednesday, Mayer walked at Coors Field alongside Carole Hemmelgarn, who lost her daughter due to a series of medical errors.
