LOVELAND, Colo. (CBS4) – Firefighters rushed to a new brush fire near Loveland on Monday afternoon. Loveland fire officials say it’s burning in a residential area near Spring Glade Road, but no homes are involved.
However, some homes are threatened. The area appears to be mostly rural, to the west of Taft Hill Road.
The fire is roughly 10 acres, but firefighters don’t expect it to grow significantly. It is not contained.
The Coyote Ridge Natural Area was briefly closed, but reopened.
About two dozen people are helping fight the fire.
