Broomfield Renters Impacted By COVID-19 Won't Face Fees For Late Payments Until November
BROOMFIELD, Colo. (CBS4) -- Renters in Broomfield don't have to worry about late rent payments for the next few months. The City Council passed an emergency ordinance to temporarily prohibit fees or penalties for late payments for residents impacted by COVID-19.
The ordinance is in effect through Nov. 1, or when Gov. Jared Polis rescinds the declaration of a disaster emergency related to the pandemic.
