Man's Body Found In South Platte River
THORNTON, Colo. (CBS4) – The Adams County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a body was found in the South Platte River. Investigators say an adult male body was found in the Thornton area near 90th Avenue and Riverdale Road about 9:30 a.m. Tuesday.
The sheriff's office said an Adams County employee working in the area discovered the body and called law enforcement.
The decedent had what appeared to be multiple puncture wounds to his upper body. He has been identified as a 65-year-old male but his name has not been released. Detectives are interviewing witnesses.
