CSU Expels Incoming Student Over Violent, Racist Posts On Social Media

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (CBS4) -- Colorado State University says it has expelled an incoming student -- after finding offensive and racist posts on his social media.

In a statement, CSU officials said the language used was violent and threatening -- moving beyond protections of the First Amendment.

Officials say that violates the university's student conduct code.
