DENVER (CBS4) – Three Denver Police officers were seriously injured overnight when a car ran into them at 16th Street and Logan Street during a protest. One civilian was also hurt.

Police are now looking for a Chevrolet Cobalt or Cruze with Wyoming license plate number 59722. It may have front end damage.

Althouth the officers suffered serious injuries, they are expected to survive. So far, there is no word on the condition of the civilian.

  1. I totally support the peaceful protests going on and what they stand for. I do not support rioting. I think our officers have shown amazing restraint while having things thrown at them and other unacceptable behavior. I am pretty sure I wouldn’t have such restraint. People from other states coming in just to make trouble need to go back to where they came from (if they want them there they can have them). Most of us in Denver have had enough,

  2. Traveling right-wing provocateurs? The Chief of Police in Minneapolis said that everyone they’d arrested were from out of state. Too bad the City was incapable of coordinating its response — Public Works might have closed the intersections where police confronted protesters.
