Rabid Bats Found In 2 Backyards In Boulder County
(CBS4) - A pair of bats found in Boulder County last week have tested positive for rabies. The were both found in separate backyards of homes.
One was in Lafayette and the other was in Longmont.
The two bats are the first to test positive for the disease in Boulder County this year.
In the wake of the discovery, health officials said it's important to pet owners to make sure their animals are up to date on vaccinations.
