Royal Gorge Bridge Reopens To Vehicles After Coronavirus Closure
CANON CITY, Colo. (CBS4)- The Royal Gorge Bridge reopened to vehicles on Friday following a full closure due to the coronavirus pandemic. Driving across the bridge won't be an option for very long.
A wildfire destroyed much of the bridge in 2013 and it has been closed to vehicles since then.
Once pedestrians are allowed on the bridge once again, vehicles will once again be prohibited.
For $20 per vehicle, visitors can drive across the highest suspension bridge in America.
