Woman Thrown Into Bear Creek After Motorcycle Hits Guard Rail

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4)- A woman is recovering after she was thrown from a motorcycle and ended up in Bear Creek. Investigators say the motorcycle driver struck a guard rail on Highway 74.

A law enforcement officer jumped into the water and pulled the woman to the bank of the creek just west of Morrison.

She was injured and had landed on the opposite side of the creek.

Firefighters and technical rescue crews helped rescue her in a high angle rescue.
