Vail Ski Resort Gondola Shut Down After 74 Evacuated
VAIL, Colo. (CBS4)- At Vail Ski Resort, 74 people had to be plucked from a gondola having trouble. The evacuation of the Eagle Bahn Gondola happened on July 3.
All of those aboard the gondola are employees of Vail Ski Resort. Everyone was able to get off the gondola safely.
Exactly what happened leading to the evacuation is being investigated. The gondola will remain closed until repairs are made.
