Crews Make Progress On Smith Canyon Fire

OTERO COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - Fire crews used planes to help extinguish the Smith Canyon Fire burning south of La Junta. The fire started on Sunday morning.

Crews made progress overnight and contained 95% of the fire. The fire has burned around 66 acres.

A helicopter is also helping in the firefight.
