Stamp Out Hunger Aims To Help End Hunger
DENVER (CBS4) - The community came together Saturday to "Stamp Out Hunger." Local USPS workers collected bags of non-perishable food left near mailboxes.
The donated items will be given back to the community through churches, food banks and food pantries.
It is the nation's largest single-day food drive. Last year's drive, officials say, resulted in more than 71 million pounds of food collected across the country.
