DPD Responds To McGlone Academy For Call Of Student With Weapon
DENVER (CBS4)- McGlone Academy in Denver Public Schools was placed on lockdown due to police activity. That status changed a few minutes later to lockout.
Denver police say officers responded to a report of a student with a weapon inside the school at around 1:30 p.m.
That student was confronted outside of the school, then police recovered an airsoft gun. Investigators say no shots were fired.
Police say the suspect was arrested and faces felony menacing and threats to injure charges.
