EAGLE COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) – A group in Eagle County is working toward a goal to save wildlife by creating highway crossing zones in the area. Safe Passages for Wildlife hopes to build the crossings similar to one along Highway 9 north of Silverthorne.

The Vail Daily reports the group met with county commissioners about their goals earlier this week. Their next step is to raise enough money to build the crossings.
