Navy Flag Stolen After Pearl Harbor Remembrance Ceremony
IDAHO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4)- A military flag used in a Pearl Harbor ceremony on Thursday has been stolen.
Troy Erickson posted on Facebook about the missing flag after the Idaho Springs Pearl Harbor remembrance ceremony.
Flags from each branch of the military were left standing on the bridge for the duration of Dec. 7 but at the end of the day, the one representing the Navy was gone.
In his post, Erickson says the monetary value of the flag is nothing compared to what it represents.
