Alert Driver Spots Smoke, Calls Firefighters
ARVADA, Colo. (CBS4)- An alert driver on Interstate 70 near Wheat Ridge saw smoke coming from an apartment complex and called 911.
Firefighters from Arvada responded quickly and were able to extinguish the flames right away.
There is heavy smoke damage to one unit and water damage to another.
A neighbor was able to knock on doors and evacuate everyone.
What started the fire remains under investigation.
