Kipling Reopens After 2nd Water Main Break In Same Area
WHEAT RIDGE, Colo. (CBS4) - A second water main break closed lanes of Kipling Street on Friday morning. All lanes of Kipling reopened just after 2 p.m. Friday.
Kipling also was shut down Wednesday due to a break that occurred between 35th and 38th Avenues.
That break has since been repaired, but, Friday morning, another break occurred right in the same area.
Northbound lanes are currently open. Southbound is down to one lane.
The Wheat Ridge Police Department says that repair and repaving work should be complete in time for Friday afternoon's rush hour.
