Taylor Swift Doesn't Sugar-Coat Testimony In Groping Case

By Karen Morfitt

DENVER (CBS4) - Swift did not hold back when explaining what she believes happened.

Telling the court, "I felt him grab onto my ass cheek under my skirt," and "It was a definite grab, a very long grab."

At times David Mueller, the former Denver DJ accused of groping the pop superstar, put his head in his hands during the questioning.

Mueller was adamant in his testimony that there was no inappropriate touching during a photo opportunity at the Pepsi Center in 2013.

Legal analyst Karen Steinhuaser says Swift's firm testimony will be key in a case she believes will come down to who the jury believes more.

"What she said, what her demeanor was on the witness stand and how consistent her testimony has been, as well as looking at her motive to come into court and say something like this happened to her if it didn't?" Steinhauser said.

Mueller's boss Hershel Coomer, also known as Eddie Haskell, took the stand on Thursday afternoon.

A portion of his questioning focused on whether or not the radio station did a thorough investigation before deciding to fire Mueller.

Haskell told the court he felt they did, and then addressed the media after leaving the witness stand.

"It was just a b lack mark we felt on KYGO when it shouldn't be and we didn't want people to think that that's the kind of people we hire," he said.

Haskell felt confident Swift would not fabricate the story. His thoughts on Mueller were less than flattering.

"Do you consider him a liar?" Haskell was asked. "Without a doubt," he answered.

Mueller's attorney also asked Swift if she was critical of her bodyguard for not stepping in.

Her response was no, that she was instead critical of Mueller.

That bodyguard is expected to take the stand in the case as well.
