Get A First Look At The 'Frozen' Musical Before Denver Debut
DENVER (CBS4) - The first trailer for "Frozen" the musical has been released.
Based on the blockbuster movie, "Frozen" was adapted to the stage by the husband-and-wife songwriting team of Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez.
"Frozen" will appear in Denver ahead of a planned run on Broadway.
The trailer shows members of the cast rehearsing for the big performance. The team behind the show also reveal that there will be lots of new songs in the show.
"There's something like seven songs in the movie. We have something more along the lines of 21 (in this show). It's like tripling the number of songs," Robert Lopez says in the trailer.
The Disney Theatrical Production will begin showing at the Buell Theatre in the Denver Center for the Performing Arts on Aug. 17. It runs through Oct. 1.
