City Upholds Pot Shop Buffer Requirements

DURANGO, Colo. (CBS4) - City officials are working to keep marijuana shops away from schools in southwestern Colorado.

The city council voted to uphold its buffers, which requires marijuana business to be at least 250 feet away from parks with playgrounds.

They also have to be at least 1,000 feet from schools.

Overnight treatment centers and overnight child care centers are also included in those limitations.
