BROOMFIELD, Colo. (CBS4)– A fire badly damaged the deck on the second story of a home in Broomfield early Wednesday morning.

Everyone inside the home on Tanager Trail escaped unharmed.

Firefighters told CBS4 they could see flames from blocks away as they arrived just after 6 a.m. Wednesday.

Crews managed to quickly get control of the fire.
