The storage units will be there for the homeless to use.

The city says not having a safe space to store things can be a barrier to getting a good job.

To be eligible to use a storage unit, a person must have a shelter identity and show they are willing to sign up for job training.

The units are available for 30 days with a chance to extend that to 60 if needed.

  1. Michael Corn says:

Denver City Councilman Albus Brooks voted to make homelessness a crime saying that there are only 347 homeless people in Denver. Really? The boxes look like a good place to urinate and store drugs and alcohol. Just as bad an idea as the mobile restrooms.
