LONGMONT, Colo. (CBS4) – A troubled pit bull is once again in need of a new home.
Beefcakes is back at the Longmont Humane Society looking for a new family.
He ended up in the news after an owner shot him in the jaw at close range when he got into a fight with a chihuahua.
A new family adopted him in March but had to return him because of a family emergency.
The shelter says because of his history and his medical needs, the adoption process is different for Beefcakes. Any new owner of the dog also much check their city’s rules for dog breed restrictions.
