Husband Of State Trooper Killed By Drunk Driver Files Lawsuits

DOUGLAS COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - The husband of a Colorado state trooper killed in the line of duty is now suing the drunk driver who hit her and the bar who served him alcohol.

Jaimie Jursevics died after being hit on Interstate 25 last fall.

Eric Henderson pleaded guilty to vehicular homicide and is serving eight years in prison.

The wrongful death lawsuit also names Brooklyn's bar, claiming those employees served alcohol to a visibly intoxicated person.
