2.4 Million Of 3.1 Million Ballots Returned By Early Afternoon Election Day

DENVER (CBS4)- Just after 2 p.m. on Election Day, more than 70 percent of ballots had been returned or voters had cast ballots at polling centers across Colorado.

According to the Secretary of State's office, 2,404,846 ballots had been returned by mail, dropped off or voters had cast ballots at polling centers by 2 p.m. Tuesday.

There are 3.1 million registered voters in Colorado. This is the first time all voters across the state received mail ballots in a presidential election year.

You can still vote in person at voting centers across the state on Tuesday, or turn in your ballot by 7 p.m. Tuesday.
